Delete your account

1. Open Platable on the web, your iPhone or your Android phone.
2. Sign in, if you aren't already.
3. Go to Settings: on a phone, the gear at the top of the Profile tab; on the web, your name at the top right.
4. Scroll to Delete account and confirm.

Sign in and go to Settings

Deletion happens straight away and cannot be undone. Everything in your account goes:

• Your sign-in record and email address
• Every meal you logged, every body-weight reading, and your water, measurements and progress photos
• Every workout and run you logged with its route and photos, including the ones you imported, and your training programs, race blocks, season goals and per-exercise history
• What came in from Apple Health: sleep, resting heart rate, HRV, steps and the rest (what is in the Health app itself stays there)
• Your calorie and macro targets, body stats and dietary preferences
• Saved recipes, meal plans, workout plans, your calendar and your shopping list
• Recipe photos generated for you
• Your weekly check-ins, reminder settings and any notification tokens for your devices
• Your network profile, follows, shared workouts, meal cards, kudos, comments and tags, your challenge joins and clubs (clubs you own are closed, with their posts), and your blocks
• Your recipe links (the public copies go), your calendar link (the address stops working), your Beacon links and any download of your data

Any subscription billed through our website is cancelled as part of the same step. If you share a shopping list, you leave it and the other person keeps it as their own.

To leave the network but keep your account, delete just your profile, in Settings → Privacy.

A subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Deleting your Platable account does not stop store billing. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings first, or you will keep being charged.

Moderation records. Reports you filed, reports about you (with the copy of what was reported) and the record of a suspension are kept after your account is gone.

Recipes other people saved. Copies of a recipe you shared that someone saved to their own account are theirs.

Our payment providers also keep their own billing records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. The Privacy Policy has the detail.

Email support@platable.io from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete it. We will confirm it's you, delete the account, and reply to say it's done — within 30 days, and normally much sooner.
